Liga MX: Chivas adds two more ‘reinforcements’ towards Opening 2020

The Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara begin their preparation for the Apertura 2020 tournament and their debut in the GNP Cup, a mini preseason tournament in which 8 Liga MX clubs will participate and although they have not had major reinforcements, they have added some reinstatements such as the Ángel Zaldívar and Edson Torres case.

Now, two more youth squads join the preseason of the Flock. Óscar Macías and Diego Cortés, who will have the opportunity to fight for a position in the first team.

Macías, a 21-year-old midfielder, left Chivas in 2018 and played for Zacatepec, Lobos BUAP and for Clausura 2020, he was on loan at Atlético de San Luis.

For his part, Diego Cortés, spent two years in Zacatepec but after his disappearance, he returned to Chivas.

The players are already under the command of Luis Fernando Tena, who will decide if they have a place in the first team, with a view to adding minutes in the Apertura 220
