A Twitter user discovered a trick that could make the shopping experience at Lidl easier and more beautiful.

Lidl is often referred to as the most popular discount store in Germany. But in a certain department, the food market is often nerve-racking for its customers.
Germany – Who doesn’t know the following supermarket scenario: All you really need is frozen peas or frozen broccoli and then you could go to the checkout with your shopping. But at the discounter Lidl, in this case it is usually not done with just a simple grip on the shelf: The search for frozen vegetables can quickly take on a move like a grab table at the end of summer sale. A Twitter user knows a solution.

The discounter Lidl is known and popular for its offers – such as recently corona tests – and inexpensive own brands. For a long time, the discounter was even considered the most popular supermarket in Germany. Only last year, according to MDR Media GmbH, Lidl was pushed from the throne by the supermarket giant Edeka in the popularity ranking.
But as popular as Lidl is, many customers in one department of the discounter are often at the end of their game. What is meant is the vegetable department on the frozen shelf. Because: Lidl does offer different types of frozen vegetables – for example beans, broccoli, cauliflower or peas – but in most Lidl branches the bags of frozen vegetables are not stored in different but in a shared shelf or a shared chest .

And so some customers when looking for frozen broccoli often felt like they were on the rummaging table or when looking for eggs at Easter – and sometimes even sank up to their elbows in the bulging vegetable freezer. Mostly it was a game of chance: Is there the broccoli you want in the next bag, or is it just possible to grab peas again? However, a Twitter user has now found a trick to ensure that looking for the right type of vegetable in the freezer does not have to turn into a complete nightmare, including freezer burn on the arms – at least when the vegetables are stowed on a shelf, reports also merkur.de. The user grmon, who happens to also work as a product developer, shared the following photo on Twitter:

Lidl: Tip for shopping and saving time – never having to rummage through frozen vegetables again
On the photo you can see: The basket in which the frozen vegetables are located can apparently easily be pulled out of the shelf. The Twitter user writes: “Who knew that and didn’t tell me. #lifehack # trick17 “. The trick is worth its weight in gold: after all, customers can easily take the type of vegetable they want from the shelf – without having to crawl into the freezer shelf with half their torso.
The followers of grmon also seem to have been on the wrong track so far – and thank you for the tip: “Good to know” writes one Twitter user, another confirms: “Very good to know.”
But was the trick actually developed to make the customer’s shopping experience easier? Another Twitter user replied warningly: “The function is only for filling !!” So it seems as if the last word of this Lidl trick has not yet been spoken.
