The early morning of Saturday, July 3, became a tragic moment after the death of Samuel Luiz, a young man from A Coruña, after a group of assailants gave him a brutal beating in what many have denounced that it could be about an act of homophobic violence. At the moment, the police investigation has led to the arrest of 13 people, implicated in the terrible act, thanks to the security cameras of the place where the brutal attack took place.
Family and friends have launched the hashtag #JusticiaParaSamuel on social networks, which became a trend last Sunday, and which was joined by several entities related to the LGTBI collective, which have already begun to call concentrations at various points to condemn the murder of Samuel. For now, these are the places where they will be held.
Galicia
The Avante LGBT + association today organizes concentrations in A Coruña, Pontevedra, Ourense, Vigo, Lugo, Ferrol, A Estrada and Santiago de Compostela, among many other points of the autonomous community, which will host protests this Monday at 8:00 p.m. in rejection of the brutal murder of the young man. A Coruña will host her in the Plaza de María Pita; Pontevedra, in the Plaza de España; Ourense in the Bispo Cesáreo square; Santiago de Compostela in Plaza 8M; Vigo, in front of the MARCO; and Lugo, Ferrol and A Estrada in front of their respective consistories.
