I actually see submitting it as ‘advertising time’ for individual MPs and then drop out anyway because the debate is over anyway. I have more problems with that exceptional culture of loyalty between party members on the one hand and the parties themselves on the other, insofar as they work together in a coalition.

It is often shocking to see and hear that MPs from the same nest defend their colleagues with fire and sword, even though the convicted MP still has the ‘murder weapon’ in his or her hand. But I find the most shocking moment when coalition members in the debate start to misuse their speaking time to justify the wrong behavior of their coalition partner. With crooked toes I sit there watching the blatant lies by colleagues because the end simply has to justify the means, namely: harmony in the coalition.
