Leonard did not travel to Orlando with the Clippers

The Clippers joined the Orlando bubble for the NBA recovery. But they made the trip without their star Kawhi Leonard retained by a family imperative.

The Clippers’ early days at Disneyworld will be mainly focused on testing and sanitation. The Californian team joined Orlando on Wednesday but it was missing Kawhi Leonard who had previously received the green light from his team, arguing of a family imperative which has not been revealed. He should nevertheless join his teammates in the coming days.

The Clippers are expected to train for the first time in the bubble on Friday evening. Their first game is scheduled for July 30 against the Lakers.
