In the match at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Friday (15/7/2022), Leo/Daniel had to go through a three-game duel against He Ji Ting/Zhou Hao Dong. Leo/Daniel won 21-14, 17-21, 21-11 after playing for 55 minutes against the Chinese representative.
Leo/Daniel went 3-0 up at the start of the first game. Through hard smashes, Leo/Daniel earned points several times.

They led 11-9 at the interval. Leo/Daniel continued to maintain their lead 18-11 and won 21-14 in the first game.
Leo/Daniel started the second game badly and went straight down 0-7. After trailing 4-11 at the interval, Leo/Daniel got closer to 12-15. Even though they kept trying to catch up to a difference of two points, Leo/Daniel finally lost 17-21.
Leo/Daniel immediately accelerated with a 7-1 lead in the deciding game. After winning 11-4 at the interval, Leo/Daniel kept going.
Daniel’s hard smash several times produced opportunities for Leo to kill the ball in front of the net. They continued to appear confident to put pressure on the Chinese pair and won a landslide victory 21-11 in the third game.
The victory of Leo/Daniel created a ‘civil war’ in the semifinals of the Singapore Open 2022. They will face Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan.
Meanwhile, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani also qualified for the semifinals of the Singapore Open 2022. Sabar/Reza eliminated Taiwan representatives, Lu Ching Yao/Yang Po Han, 21-16, 21-17.
From the women’s doubles number, Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma / Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi had to admit the superiority of Zhang Shu Xian / Xheng Yu in the quarterfinals Singapore Open 2022. Ana/Tiwi lost to the runner-up of the Indonesia Masters 2022 through a rubber game battle with a score of 16-21, 21-18, 11-21.
