Lenovo’s new gamer mobile comes with SSD hybrid storage

The Legion Y90 promises a big throw.

Although their arrival has been betrayed for months, Lenovo has still not pulled the veil off the 2022 Legion Y90, the king of gamer mobiles.

Published on Lenovo’s Weibo profile registration as the Y90 raises its stakes with a new hybrid storage that combines traditional UFS 3.1 chips with SSD technology. The details, unfortunately, only ticked off the Chinese post that the solution RAID 0 layout and that you can make up to 50% progress in random write speeds.

The manufacturer has once again confirmed that the Legion Y90 will receive Qualcomm’s latest state-of-the-art processor, the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, with full LPDDR 5 memory. The latter is rumored to have 8-, 12-, or 18GB depending on storage (128/256 / 512GB). For other features, the birds are chirping from a 144Hz, 6.92-inch AMOLED display, as well as a dual-lens (64/16 MP) rear camera and a 5600 mAh battery.
