Lenier Mesa surprises mothers in the middle of the celebration and dedicates ‘How do I pay you’ to them – 2024-05-11 06:00:08

A few days before the celebration of Mother’s Day, which in Cuba and the United States occurs on the second Sunday of May (this year on the 12th), Cuban reggaeton artist Lenier Mesa decided to surprise a group of women with a special performance.

The reggaeton artist, based in Miami, appeared during a celebration of Mother’s Day – which in some Latin American countries is celebrated on May 10 – and surprised those present by performing his most famous song: How do I pay you.

The song, a ballad dedicated to mothers, expresses everything that a child’s heart feels and for which sometimes it does not find words, the extreme gratitude and unconditional love towards the figure of the mother, who takes care of us from childhood and accompanies us all our lives.

The recording was shared by the Despierta América networks, although it is not reported where the celebration took place or how Lenier found out about it to intervene.

In the video, around thirty women can be seen, surrounded by balloons and purple ribbons, at a Mother’s Day celebration, when the Cuban enters the room and begins to sing his song dedicated to the occasion.

Some of the women look visibly excited, others dance, one of them is asked to dance by the reggaeton artist himself, while others remain seated in their place. It is also not clear if all those present are Cuban.

In the comments of the famous American program, there are several praises for the singer and thanks for such a special gesture, despite the multiple controversies in which he has been involved and how he turned his back on the Miami exile, allying himself with the dictatorship to be able to sing. in Cuba.

This “selfless” gesture from the singer comes within the framework of the premiere of his most recent song, I do not know who I amwhich he released with Olga Tañón and whose video was recorded in Puerto Rico, which he is currently promoting.
