A source close to Nasser Maher, the loaned player to Al-Ahly’s ranks, confirmed that the player welcomes the transfer to the ranks of the Portuguese club Nacional Madeira, noting that negotiations between the Portuguese club and Al-Ahly are ongoing.
Amir Tawfiq, the contract manager for Al-Ahly Club, had said earlier that an offer from Nacional Madeira to Nasser Maher was being studied.
The source said in his statements to “Yalla Koura” “Nasser Maher is very welcome to move to the ranks of Nacional Madeira, the player finds it a good opportunity for professionalism, especially as he is at a young age.”
He continued, “The offer included borrowing Nasser Maher for one season. Negotiations between Al-Ahly and the Portuguese club are ongoing in order to agree on the financial compensation.”
“Al-Ahly continued to request the raising of the financial compensation to end things.”
He concluded, “Smouha intends to make an offer to renew the player’s borrowing next season, but the player prefers European professionalism.”
