Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Good news coming from New York. Bill Gates’ eldest daughter, Jennifer Gates has married Egyptian equestrian, Nayel Nassar.
The two of them tied the knot on Friday night US time (15/10/2021) with an Islamic marriage ceremony in Westchester County. The ceremony was held behind closed doors in a 142-acre park in North Salem, New York.
Interestingly, Bill and Melinda, who are currently divorced, did not miss their daughter’s important moment to attend the wedding directly.
Meanwhile, a new wedding reception was held on Saturday evening (16/10/2021) which was attended by 300 guests.
The Daily Mail wrote that several important guests attended this event, including Georgina Bloomberg. British band Coldplay also enlivened Jennifer-Nayel’s reception.
As is known, Jennifer Gates married at the age of 25 years. Meanwhile, Nayel Nassar is 30 years old.
The two were married on a luxury equestrian field property that the Microsoft founder bought for his daughter for $16 million or around IDR 228 billion after graduating from Stanford University in 2018.
Meanwhile, wedding preparations are said to have cost up to US$ 2 million or around Rp. 28 billion.
