The police officer pointed out that the operation will continue until the weekend and stressed that “the deputies asked not to have a police slogan. However, it is our obligation to provide security to the deputies. For this we have an elaborate work that we are supporting and we hope to do it correctly in the next few hours ”.
In addition, he assured that no deputy expressed fear for his physical integrity. “In the least, they are aware of the work, except for some specific cases of deputies who have experienced scars, threats or specific damage to their homes. I do not deny that some deputies are concerned, but I repeat, I made contact yesterday (for this Tuesday) with almost everyone and there is tranquility ”, concluded Gómez.

Although Gómez did not mention it yesterday when explaining the security maneuvers that will be implemented in the framework of the session that will deal with mining, some sectors of referents who organize the mobilizations of mining rejection do not rule out that the Government also plans to carry out operations in the routes in order to disrupt the mobilizations, if they take place, from different locations to Rawson.
