Legislative 2022 – Practical information for participating in the ballot on Sunday June 12 and 19 » PACA’s economic and political newsletter

The first round of the legislative elections will take place on Sunday June 12, 2022 and the second round on Sunday June 19.

In the Var, the polling stations will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for the municipalities of Toulon, Hyères and La Garde where the polling stations will close at
19h.
The professions of faith of the candidates

The professions of faith of the candidates were put in folds last weekend and are now sent by La Poste. They can also be consulted online on the website of the Ministry of the Interior when the candidates have sent them.

Give power of attorney

The proxy request can be made, in theory, until the day before the poll. However, in the event of a late request, given the delays in delivery and taking them into account by the polling station, it is possible that the agent cannot vote.
A proxy received too late for a first round may nevertheless, depending on the validity date chosen, be used for the second round.

The steps to give your power of attorney are on the site: www.maprocuration.gouv.fr

Find your polling station

The reference and address of the polling station are listed on the electoral card.

It is also possible to find your polling station on the online teleservice Query your electoral situation by clicking here : https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/services-en-ligne-et-formulaires/ISE

Documents needed to vote

To vote :

> you must be registered on the electoral lists (to check your registration, click here: https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/services-en-ligne-et-formulaires/ISE)
> In municipalities with more than 1,000 inhabitants, you must prove your identity by presenting an identity document with photo and, if possible, the electoral card, which is not compulsory.

Health recommendations

> Wearing a mask is strongly recommended for fragile people, symptomatic people, at-risk contact cases and people who have tested positive for covid-19, up to 7 days after leaving isolation.
> Access to the polling station can be regulated and entrance and exit must be separated in order to avoid crowded situations. It will also be regularly aired and the voting material will be cleaned frequently.
> Masks, hydro-alcoholic gel and self-tests will be made available.
