Lebanon’s Democratic Republic vs. Nasrallah’s Dictatorship: The Role of Official Institutions

Omar Harfoush, the founder of the Third Lebanese Republic Initiative, issued the following statement:

“Lebanon is neither an Islamic nor a Christian country, but a democratic republic to which citizens of all sects and sects belong. It is governed and its foreign and domestic policies are managed by a president, government, parliament, and ministries. Therefore, no cleric, party leader, or militia leader should impose his ideas and policies on the state and on the Lebanese, as Hassan Nasrallah did yesterday evening when he boasted that he had made the necessary contacts to expel the Swedish ambassador from Lebanon and wanted to investigate whether the Lebanese ambassador to Sweden had returned.” Indeed, to Lebanon, as they told him.”
This talk is dictatorial and bypasses the role of official institutions.
Only the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon, at the request of the Prime Ministry and the President of the Republic, requests the withdrawal of Lebanon’s ambassador abroad, or summons the ambassador of a foreign country accredited to Lebanon to consult first and request his return to his country later if there is an official decision on the matter.
What exactly is Nasrallah’s role in Lebanon?
Is he foreign minister, prime minister, president of the republic, or all three together?
Or is he the spiritual guide of the Republic of Lebanon in the Iranian way?

It is clear that he commands and is implemented, and no one defends the supremacy of the position of the president, nor the position of prime minister, nor the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor the parliament.
This means that Lebanon has become the “Islamic Republic of Hezbollah!”
