It is noteworthy that entrepreneur Mario Nofal wrote in a post on his account on the “X” platform: “Abbas Ibrahim, the former head of Lebanese Public Security, was assassinated after an attack on his home.”
He added, “Abbas, a general, was known for his role in international affairs and his skill in mediating conflicts.”
He concluded: “He recently completed a 12-year term as director of Lebanese Public Security and was a bodyguard for former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.”
