The family of the Lebanese film “Arza” is experiencing a state of happiness after announcing its selection to participate in the official competition of the Cairo International Film Festival.

The film brings back its heroine, Diamond Abu Abboud, to compete in this category after she previously won the Best Actress award in the same competition several years ago. It is the first participation in the Cairo International Film Festival for its director, Mira Shuaib, in her first feature film after her short film, “Lilac,” which participated. In many international festivals.

The movie “Cedar”, written by Louay Khraish and Faisal Sam Shuaib, and its soundtrack was composed by the artist Hani Adel, and starring the artists, Diamond Abu Abboud, Betty Tuttle, and Bilal Al-Hamawi, in conjunction with the guests of the work, Fadi Abi Samra, Junaid Zein Al-Din, Fouad Yammine, Elie.
