Tomasz Raczek on abortion: It is a personal matter, not a state matter
Tomasz Raczek in June he turned 65, but on his YouTube channel he remembered when he was a student and his partner at the time informed him that she was pregnant. However, the woman had an abortion, which at that time was legal until the 12th week of pregnancy. The critic was asked about this issue during an interview with “Wprost”. However, he did not reveal more.
It is a very important topic for me and I do not want to treat it superficially, confessed Tomasz Raczek.
Moreover, the journalist suggested that he might return to the topic in his autobiographical book. Tomasz Raczek said, however, what is his attitude to abortion and whether he is in favor of liberalizing the abortion law.
This is the point, that I am not an opponent of abortion, but at the same time it does not mean that I have no doubts about its significance for human life – and I do not mean the fetus, but would-be parents. However, I certainly do not think that abortion should be banned, because this is the belief of the secular or ecclesiastical authorities. This is a personal matter, not a state matter. I am a supporter of freedom and I believe that every person has the right to manage their life according to their own feelings and their own morality – said Tomasz Raczek.
