EVENT The FIFA World Cup 2022 has just begun. One of the things that made headlines about this event was the presence of singer Jungkook at the opening ceremony at Qatar’s Al Bayt Stadium.

South Korean vocal group Bangtan Sonyeondan or BTS personnel managed to become filler soundtrack The official title of the World Cup is “Dreamers”.

Jungkook performed the song live with local Qatari singer, Fahad Al-Kubaisi. The collaboration of two singers from different countries has successfully amazed the world audience.

Jungkook’s success on stage at the World Cup received attention because it was the first time an Asian singer performed the official World Cup song.

This of course is not separate from track record which he has built over the years with BTS through music K-Pop. A success of intercultural communication that has conquered thousands of enthusiasts.

Jungkook appeared flawless with his looks, costumes and features that the K-Popers have known so far.

At the opening of the World Cup, Jungkook represented the absence of cultural boundaries between the citizens of the world.

Intercultural communication is a process of exchanging “messages” between people who have different cultures, be they racial, ethnic, socio-economic, or a combination of all of these.

Intercultural communication continues to grow, especially now that people can communicate freely thanks to technological developments.
