Learn about the latest and fastest Wi-Fi 6E wireless networks

Currently all wireless networks operate with the frequency of 2.4 and 5 GHz, but international organizations intend to start supporting a higher range of 6 GHz, and the new Wi-Fi networks that support it are named Wi-Fi 6E.

It is still too early to see devices operating with this type of network, as it is expected that we will need a year or two to start spreading.

Currently there are newer Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) networks that use the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands to wirelessly transfer a large amount of data.

The new Wi-Fi 6E network will expand support by working on 6 GHz with 14 additional channels, each with a frequency of 80 MHz and several channels with a frequency of 160 MHz.

With the increase in the volume of files as a result of the technical development, it became necessary to create stronger networks that are able to carry this amount quickly, this means the ability to transfer videos accurately 8K to virtual reality and live broadcast without having to wait for a long time to download.

The presence of the Wi-Fi 6E name on any device, such as computers, smartphones, and routers, means that it supports 6GHz Wi-Fi. And in some uses that require superior data transfer capacity, there are WiGig networks that support 60 GHz Wi-Fi.
