So far, only one game is known that has been confirmed as the start title for the PS5: Godfall, the action role-playing game developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox, a “looter slasher”.
Now a short leaked gameplay clip of the upcoming title has shown us more of this – and it looks pretty impressive. Users shared on Reddit YeaQuarterDongIng a 6 second clip that “represents a fraction of the footage of an unpublished trailer”. The material focuses on the fight of the game and shows a close combat very briefly.
A HUD can also be seen there (such as indicators for enemies who God of War similar). Most notably, the game looks great – and while it is not clear whether this is representative of the end product, it is certainly encouraging.

Godfall will be released at the launch of PS5. developer Counterplay Games developed the game with a view to co-op.
