Le Matin – New support programs for industrial MSMEs

A new generation of support programs for the revival of industrial MSMEs is emerging. Designed to give them a strong boost to their growth and competitiveness, this new offer was initiated by the Ministry of Industry, through the agency Maroc PME. Firstly, the “Istitmar” and “Mowakaba” programs have been reconfigured. The first relates to support for investment in industrial small businesses, up to 30% of the investment program. “Projects carried out at the level of provinces and prefectures located outside the Atlantic axis Tangier-Casablanca can benefit from additional support of 5%”, underlines the ministry. The “Mowakaba” program, for its part, covers technical assistance and consultancy costs for the benefit of industrial small and medium-sized businesses up to 80% for SMEs (instead of 70% currently) and 90% for very small businesses. The ceiling for support for creativity and co-development projects for very small businesses has increased to 2 million dirhams, instead of one million. In addition, two other new support programs have been implemented. This is the “Tatwir” program which offers tailor-made support including both investment support and technical assistance and advice, for the benefit of industrial small businesses investing in growth sectors, particularly those of growth green, industrial innovation and industry 4.0. Added to this is the “Nawat” program, which provides support in terms of advice, expertise and technical assistance, for the benefit of very small businesses, self-entrepreneurs and project leaders with investment projects not exceeding 3 million dirhams. .
