Vienna. “Just as it is not a waste of time to consult doctors, this also applies to lawyers.” Rupert Wolff, President of the Austrian Chamber of Lawyers, opposes the statements of ÖVP Minister of Economic Affairs Margarete Schramböck, who advised companies not to consult lawyers. This would make sense, says Wolff. Because the rules laid down by the government for entrepreneurs were “actually arbitrary”. But why is Schramböck appealing to the companies in this case, and what are the lawyers doing now?
