Law Students in New York Rally for Justice in Israel-Hamas Conflict

NEW YORK – The Israel-Hamas war has already left thousands of people dead on both sides since the weekend and the conflict is expected to intensify.

For their part, in the New York area there will be multiple demonstrations by law students from different universities who demand justice for both Palestine and Israel.

One of those demonstrations will be at New York University (NYU) where Ryna Workman, a student and president of the law school of this university, allegedly made posts on social networks defending the actions of the military group Hamas and describing them as “necessary.” blaming Israel for these attacks. Because of this, Workman lost a job offer at a law firm and the law school voted to begin a process to remove her as president.

On the other hand, other institutions that will participate will be Columbia University where students will hold a silent demonstration for the bloodshed of the people of Israel. Students from Brooklyn College, Hunter College and Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, will also demonstrate
