“We recognize the Attorney General’s Task Force Deltan Dallagnol as a fundamental pillar in international cooperation that allows knowing the serious acts of transnational corruption that affect Latin American countries in the framework of the Operation Lava Jato“, they said in a statement.
In the letter, the Peruvian prosecutors indicated that the actions “that seek to affect the independence” of the prosecutors or attorneys responsible for the investigations of acts of corruption “are of international concern, as our countries are subscribers to the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the Inter-American Convention against Corruption “.
