According to Gatot, deep proxy war, the control of a country is no longer using physical war, but rather using it proxy. One of them is by intervening in elections and electing state officials who can be controlled by foreign parties.
“In time these officials can be controlled, even become puppets for other interests which are not the goals and interests of the state,” said Gatot Nurmantyo during the WE declaration.

Moreover, the response to this threat is filled with attitudes. take it easy and even focus more on other interests which could have been put aside earlier, “said Gatot.
However, this former Army Chief of Staff asked the public to remain united in the midst of the chaotic condition of the country as it is today. “We cannot and should never be divided for any interest,” he said.
