The popular Visual Novel Doki Doki Literature Club was released on Nintendo Switch yesterday. To celebrate the release of this “Plus” version, a new trailer has been put online by Serenity Forge and Team Salvato. The trailer shows the best sides of the game and once again emphasizes that this psychological horror game is not for everyone. You can view it below.
Doki Doki Literature Club originally came out on Steam in 2017, where it quickly became very popular. Where it looks like a harmless visual novel/dating sim from the front, the game quickly turns out to be a psychological thriller. The Plus edition now brings the original game to Switch plus six new sub-stories, thirteen new songs, a higher resolution and a gallery mode with over 100 photos. The game can be downloaded from the eShop for €12.49.
