Latvian Influencer Boasts About Singing Career and New Musical Group “Tracis” – Exclusive Interview with “Private Life” Magazine

“Well, I sing not only in the shower, but also on radio and television,” boasts the influencer who has sung with musicians Mika Dukura and Elina Gluzunova.

Over the years, the trio has made the new musical association “Tracis” shine on the horizon of Latvian music. At first, there were five members in the group – Katrīne, Miks, Elīna and members of the group “Inspo”, but shortly after the debut single, the members announced that only three of them would continue their joint journey from now on.

At the beginning of January, the group released their debut single “Čiekurkalns”. “The song “Instagram” has around 140 thousand views, while other musicians have a few thousand views.

As Mick Dukurs laughs, I’m the only popular one in the group because I have a lot of followers on social networks.

Because of my popularity, both were willing to turn a blind eye even to vocals. But after hearing how I sing, that I can hold the melody, they entrusted me to sing the chorus,” Katrīne is proud.

She sang in a choir as a child. “I was in the first voice and I wanted to play a musical instrument as well, but my parents didn’t take me anywhere. Perhaps that’s why, when I was expecting my youngest daughter, I was sure that one day she would be a singer,” recalls Katrīne.

Both daughters, who were born in marriage with hockey player Kaspar Saulieti, are said to have excellent voices. Both have sung in vocal ensembles and participated in countless competitions, but they stopped singing during the pandemic. Well, she continues the singing relay in the family.

“In February we will present the second song, in March there will be a third, but in the second half of the year we are also planning a concert, we are talking about St. John’s. You can invite us to private parties – it will cost a lot,” says Katrīne.
