The tournament “Latvian Open 2020” continues in Valmiera and Kocēni

Today in Valmiera, Vidzeme Olympic Center, and Kocēni Sports House, the pre-season test floorball tournament “Latvian Open 2020” continues with group games. The first playoff games will also take place tonight.
The men’s Elite group consists of eight teams divided into two subgroups. After the games of the first day, the leader of subgroup A has two victories in two matches is Kocēni “Rubene”, but under the leadership of subgroup B, the white team of Latvian junior team candidates has emerged with one victory and one draw.
In the Men’s Open group, 11 teams are fighting for victory, which are also divided into two subgroups. The leaders of subgroup A are “Ogres Vilki” and “Rubene – 1” – four points each, but in subgroup B four points are only for the team FK “Kalsnava”.
Six teams participate in the women’s group, which played a different number of games on the first day of the tournament, but both home units – Kocēni “Rubene” and “Rubene – 1” have accumulated four points. Two points are for the team “Ķekava”, which has only had one game.
