Liepāja were in the lead for most of the first half, and although “Dartija” won by two points in the last minute, it seemed that it would not be easy for the home team to compete for the victory in the sum of two games. After the big break, the balance was maintained for another four minutes, but then the rules were completely dictated by the hosts.
From the result 39:41 in six minutes Iecava “Dartija” reached 62:41 and in the last quarter securely defeated the victory in the sum of two games.
Gundars Brička scored 26 points, Edvards Jašuks scored 16 points and won 12 balls, but Nauris Bikovs scored 13 points. Adrians Šnipke scored 17 points in favor of Liepāja residents, but Valters Vuciņš stood out with 17 points.

In order to at least partially compensate for the dominance of Tukums in experience and physical maturity, the young Rigans needed collective speed, energy and coherence in both defense and attack. But – with some training it was not enough for the basketball players gathered from different BJBS “Riga” divisions to become a united team.

Tukums team Eduards Horeliks scored 24 points and won 13 balls, while Mareks Doroškevičs scored 22 points.
The answer game will take place on Monday in Tukums, but the winners of this pair will play in the second round with BC “Ķekava”.
