Marisol Arenas (USA-Mexico)

She works as a systems engineer on the Juno mission and on the Psyche that searches for metal worlds in space. Her passion for space began when she received an autographed photo of astronaut Ellen Baker at school.

Luis Campos (Mexico)

He has worked on the Perseverance robot since its first tests in the laboratory and until now the operations phase begins. Help the team on the ground to receive the data that is taken on board the ship.

Melissa Soriano (Peru-USA)

Telecommunications engineer who works with communications from Earth with the spacecraft Mars Curiosity, Juno and Perseverance. As a child, I watched Star Trek and dreamed of exploring the universe inside the Enterprise.

René Domínguez (Mexico)

It works with the Perseverance sample system. He has extensive experience working in clean rooms, so he is used to biosecurity measures.

Elena Sophia Amador (French-Spanish)

She is a planetary geologist working with Mars Curiosity. She is in charge of making a link between engineers and scientists on the team.

Christina Hernández (Mx-USA)

She works as a systems engineer for 3 of Perseverance’s instruments helping to make the link between engineers and scientists.

Kathya Zamora García (Costa Rica)

He is head of the mission operations group at NASA’s JPL. He has worked with the Casini mission to Saturn. He likes to advise young professionals and students.

Marlon Hernández (GUATEMALA)

He is a configuration management engineer for the Europa Clipper mission. He began his career at NASA’s JPL as a librarian and in his spare time he enjoys running marathons.

Lauren Denson (LATINA AMERICANA)

Latino and Native American, develops websites to improve how they process information, track hardware and make decisions at NASA’s JPL.

Roxana González Burgos (Puerto Rico)

She is one of the software engineers for Perseverance. In her spare time she enjoys doing graphic design and playing the Ukulele. She is co-founder of the organization Include girls.

José G Trujillo Rojas (Mexico)

Perseverance Test Engineer. He works with the “twin” model of the rover to do all the necessary tests in the laboratory.

Corrine Rojas (USA-Mexico)

Perseverance engineer with the Mastcam-Z instrument. Look forward to the first photos of the rover in Jezero Crater.

Laureano Cangahuala (USA-Peru-Colombia)

He started his career as a planetary navigator and is now part of the Europa Clipper systems team. He likes to make arepas and empanadas and share with friends.

Ruth Fragoso (USA-Mexico)

Before working with the space shuttle missions, he spoke directly to some astronauts, from space. Today it is part of the Psyche, Perseverance and Europa Clipper missions.

Raymond Higuera

Manufacturing and assembly engineer in heat transfer systems. He has participated in missions such as Curiosity and Persevance.

Lizbeth B. De La Torre (Mexico-USA)

He works on NASA’s JPL creative team. Use her entertainment design expertise to imagine future technologies and missions for space exploration.

Randy G Herrera (Mexico-USA)

He has participated in several projects in the last 20 years in different roles, such as systems engineer, scientific coordinator and now project formulation.

He leads the mechanical design team for the Perseverance and Europa Clipper. She also worked on Mars Curiosity.

Brandon Rodríguez (Venezuela)

He is part of the outreach and education team of Nasa’s JPL. He began his career as a researcher in chemistry, until he came to JPL where he develops educational programs for school-age children.
