He also said that despite a slight decline, sales of packaged cooking oil were still stable. People still buy these commodities even though the prices are high.
Similarly, at Alfamart in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, the price of packaged cooking oil did not decrease. If it goes down, it’s because there is a discount from the cooking oil company in question.
“Prices are still normal, the same as last week,” said Ryan (24), an employee at Alfamart.
At Alfamart Duren Tiga, the price of Tropical packaged cooking oil is still priced at IDR 51,900 for a two liter size. Meanwhile, the Sania brand sells for IDR 49,400 for the same size.
