László Tóth Tahi was born in Budapest on January 23, 1944. He graduated from the Theater and Film Academy in 1966 in the class of Zoltán Várkonyi. He was a member of Vígszínház for 50 years, in many plays, in a movie and appeared in an entertainment show. But he was one of the most employed dubbing and voice actors.
Among others, he lent his voice to Professor Severus Snape Harry Potterin movies.

László Tóth Tahi died on February 22, 2018 in Budapest. “On January 21, 2017, the actor fell ill during the József Attila Theater’s performance of Hattyúdal, in which he played the role of Tamburás. The artist played through the performance, but after that he was taken to the hospital by ambulance. A few weeks later he had brain surgery.” –written by the National Film Institute then.
