Vaccination without appointment

These last two winters, Brittany is the region of France with the highest vaccination coverage against influenza according to Public Health France: 50.4% last year against 46.8% at the national level. If the vaccination campaign lasts until January 31, it is better not to wait, because it is necessary 15 days after the vaccine to be fully immunized. “If you do it while the flu is already there, the defenses are a little lower and there is more risk of catching it”, warns Sophie Daniel.
