A fire broke out in Heybeliada. While Dumanlar is also seen from Caddebostan coast in Istanbul, many firefighters, health and police teams were sent for fire. Bekir Pakdemirli, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, who went to the fire zone, said in a statement, “2 aircraft, 5 helicopters, 6 plots and 40 personnel were sent to the fire.”
HEYBELİADA HAS BEEN CLOSED TO SEA TRANSPORTATION
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Lines Administration and private sector boats, which provide transportation to Heybeliada, are prohibited from entering the island. City Lines and private sector boats only carry passengers to Büyükada.
FIRE UNDER CONTROL
Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya announced that the fire was under control at 19.45 hours and that the cooling works continued.

GOVERNORSHIP: FIRE OUTS AT TWO DIFFERENT POINTS
The statement made by the Governorship of Istanbul said:
* At the Adalar District, today at 17.07, a forest fire broke out at two different points in the forest area at Heybeliada Aşıklar Yolu.
* Fire Department of Forestry District Firefighting Organization, İBB Fire Department and War School personnel and equipment, and 2 helicopters are intervened. 3 helicopters and 2 fire extinguishers were sent from the surrounding provinces by our Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for fire fighting works.
* Fire extinguishing works are ongoing and a wide-ranging investigation has been launched.

IMM INTERVENTED WITH A LOT OF VEHICLES AND HELICOPTERS
While the IMM teams intervened with the Ministry of Forestry, a second fire warning came in the same area.
IMM intervened in the second forest fire, which was seen to be larger, with 3 fire fighting helicopters, 42 vehicles and hundreds of personnel.
