Last minute… Mustafa Şentop was re-elected as the Speaker of the Assembly

Parliamentary election started at the General Assembly. The election was made by secret ballot as per the bylaws.

FALLS FROM FIVE CANDIDATES TO 4 ISLANDS

AKP’li Mustafa Sentopin the election to be a candidate again; CHP Ankara Deputy Haluk Koç, HDP Istanbul Deputy Erol KatırcıoğluGaziantep MP, IYI Party Imam Huseyin Filiz and TİP Chairman and Deputy of Istanbul Erkan Bas competed but after the completion of the second round of voting Headwas withdrawn from the nomination.

FIRST TOUR IS COMPLETED

The first round of voting has been completed for the election of the Parliament. In the first voting held secretly, Mustafa Şentop (AKP) 324, Haluk Koç (CHP) 131,
Erol Katırcıoğlu (HDP) 50, Hüseyin Filiz (İYİ Party) 34, Erkan Baş (TİP) got 9 votes. In the first round of voting, the candidates could not get 400 votes, which is a 2/3 majority of the total number of TBMM members. Round 2 voting was started for the presidential election.

NO RESULT FROM SECOND TOUR CARVING

2nd round of voting was completed for the election of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, 3rd round of voting was started.

In the second round of voting, Mustafa Şentop (AKP) 329, Haluk Koç (CHP) 133, Erol Katırcıoğlu (HDP) 53, Hüseyin Filiz (İYİ Party) 36 candidates in the 2nd round of voting, the majority of the total number of members of the Turkish Grand National Assembly It did not reach 400 votes. 3. Round voting was started for the presidential election.

ŞENTOP RE-CHOICE CHAIRMAN

Şentop, who received 328 votes in the third round of voting, was re-elected as the Speaker of the Assembly.
