Last minute … Fire intervention in starch factory in Adana

Around 18:00 today AdanaA fire broke out in a starch factory in OSB in Sarıçam district of Istanbul.

Those who noticed the fire, whose cause of exit could not be determined while the workers were working at the factory, informed the firefighters, police and health teams. As the flames spread in a short time, the sky was painted black with smoke emitted from the different.

Upon the notice, 4 firefighters from tarsus and 2 firefighters in Osmaniye and firefighters from the Regional Directorate of Forestry were sent to the region as well as the Adana Metropolitan Municipality firefighters. In addition, police teams supported the extinguishing works with 2 TOMA vehicles.

The fire was not taken under control during the extinguishing works, which continued for approximately 4.5 hours with 25 vehicles and 60 personnel. While the fire was not injured, work at the workplace was terminated.
