Last big rehearsal for NASA! Giant rocket ready to hope

NASA is starting to test its new huge rocket, which it introduced in the last month, after its preparations.

According to the news on ShiftDelete, The rocket, called the Space Launch System (SLS), is ready for trial after two weeks of preparation. This will be the last major rehearsal before the space agency, after many years and billions of dollars in development costs, finally announces it’s ready to start.

NASA WILL REACH THROUGHOUT GN

The Space Launch System is being prepared to launch the agency’s people and cargo deep into space. This step is among the agency’s aims to play a leading role in the Artemis program, the initiative to send the first woman and first black people to the Moon in the mid-2020s.

Removing approximately 60,000 pounds in orbit, the SLS is designed to launch a container that will carry future astronauts. But before that, SLS has to start. His first flight, Artemis I, was also a rehearsal. The rocket will demonstrate its capabilities around the moon for 4 to 6 weeks without any crew inside. Alongside that, he’ll launch Orion on a strike.

For this launch, known as ‘wet suit rehearsal’, NASA wants to go through all the steps. At the same time, NASA does not aim to ensure that the infrastructure surrounding the SLS can be taken together for the first time. This includes massive vehicles and structures used to stabilize the rocket during launch.

The test will begin at 5 PM with a station call. For those who want to follow the test, live images of the SLS rocket will be on one of NASA’s YouTube channels. However, the agency will not allow viewers to listen to internal audio, as it does for Space Shuttle missions on board. In addition to these, NASA officials stated that they will inform the media about the test results on Monday.
