The LASK presented two new players on Monday afternoon. Forward Mamoudou Karamoko and midfielder Mads Emil Madsen each signed a contract until summer 2024.
“We are very pleased that with Mamoudou and Mads we have been able to sign two young, talented players who fit our game concept perfectly,” said LASK Vice President Jürgen Werner in a press release.
The 1.88-meter striker Karamoko changed from the B team of Racing Club de Strasbourg to the second team of VfL Wolfsburg in summer 2019. At the second of Lower Saxony, the Frenchman convinced with twelve goals and three assists in twenty games. In February of this year, the offensive man also made his Bundesliga debut in Wolfsburg’s 4-0 win over Mainz.
“Mamoudou has shown what qualities he has in the U23. It is now important that he take the next step in his career and develop in the professional field. We wish him all the best,” said VfL Sports Director Marcel Schäfer.
With Mads Emil Madsen, the athletes also secured the services of a central midfielder. The Dane, who was last signed to Silkeborg IF, signed up a week ago in his team’s 1-2 loss to Soenderjyske.
