The city of Las Vegas celebrates the LGBTQ community and just recently launched a digital content series, How to Be (in Vegas), which addresses queer identity, self-acceptance and all that an inclusive environment like only Las Vegas can inspire.
Featuring the first transgender woman to compete in the Miss USA pageant, current Miss Nevada Kataluna Enriquez, the first episode is available now on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and VisitLasVegas.com.
The destination also offers several places where LGBT visitors can celebrate their pride with Only Vegas experiences.
The Nevada Gay Rodeo Association’s most anticipated event of the year, the BigHorn Rodeo, will be held Friday, September 16 through Sunday, September 18 at Horseman’s Park.
The BigHorn Rodeo includes raw stock, stringing, speed and camp events. The organization also hosts several gatherings throughout the year, including Cowboy Bingo Night at the Quadz Video Bar.
The annual Aids for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) AIDS Walk returns for its 32nd year, with a walk and 5k scheduled for Sunday, May 1 in Sunset Park.
