Large-scale exercise “Zametil-2022” started in Ukraine

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun command and staff exercises Zametil-2022, where they will practice the management of groups of troops during combat operations. About this General Staff of the AFU on Facebook.

The main purpose of the exercise is to acquire and enhance the operational capabilities of military command authorities, military units and units of the Armed Forces and other components of the security and defense of the state to manage troops during the conduct of defense operations in a crisis region.

The large-scale maneuvers will cover certain areas throughout the country. The maneuvers will take place during the month of February.

It is reported that the exercises are a planned event in the training of troops. During the past year the AFU conducted almost 5,000 combat training events. 70 of them were command-staff exercises involving troops. 2,500 tactical and special exercises of various types. This year, as the General Staff states, the combat training program is no less intense. The AFU is constantly preparing and ready to respond to any security developments.

As a reminder, from February 10 to 20, Belarus will host exercise “Allied Resolute-2022” will be held in Belarus on February 10-20.in the framework of which the destruction of the Ukrainian army will be practiced. It was also reported that Ukraine held large exercises of antitank reserveswhich practiced destroying the enemy.
