Large-scale deployment of fire brigade, police and ambulance in Darmstadt

The residents of an apartment in the apartment building had informed the emergency control center around 3:30 a.m. and complained of sudden nausea. Darmstadt (ots) – The absence of residents of a single-family house on Glockengartenweg was exploited by so far unknown perpetrators between Thursday (February 11th) and Tuesday (February 16th) and tried to break into the property. Fortunately, the criminals failed in their attempt to forcibly open the rear terrace door and escaped without having achieved anything. Their traces had been discovered by the residents on Tuesday morning and a complaint was filed. The criminal investigation department in Darmstadt has started the investigation into the attempted break-in and is looking for witnesses who noticed suspicious persons at the time of the crime and in the vicinity of the crime scene. Darmstadt-Kranichstein: Numerous cars scratched – the police are investigating property damage in at least 22 cases

Darmstadt (ots) – In the Parkstrasse and in the area “An der Schleifmühle” numerous parked cars were apparently willfully scratched by as yet unknown perpetrators during Tuesday (February 16). Around 3 p.m., the first residents informed the police after they noticed the fresh damage to their cars. During the subsequent search of the streets, the officers found another 22 scratched vehicles. According to initial findings, the time of the crime should go back to around 9 a.m. on this Tuesday morning. The damage caused so far amounts to several hundred euros.

The investigation group City of the Darmstadt police took over the further investigations and initiated numerous proceedings for property damage. The officers are not only looking for witnesses who can give clues about the perpetrators in this context, but also the owners of possibly other damaged cars that were parked in the area and at the time of the crime.
