Starting Monday of this week, drivers using the Queensboro Bridge will see some lanes closed on this roadway.
This while works are being carried out to renovate the upper section, which is 113 years old.

Two Manhattan-bound lanes of the Upper Causeway will be closed daily, except Sunday, until further notice.
One of them will be closed 24 hours a day and the second will be closed during off-peak hours, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the day, and from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. at night.
Transit authorities recommend drivers to take public transportation or look for alternative routes.
