A source inside Al-Ahly club revealed that the team’s player, Walid Suleiman, suffered a rupture of his collarbone after colliding with Zamalek player Mohamed Abdel Shafi.
And the source – who refused to be named – stated via “Yallakora” on Sunday evening, that Walid suffered a tear in the subclavian muscle.
Walid Suleiman clashed with Muhammad Abdel Shafi during the summit match between Zamalek and Al-Ahly, which made the left back of Zamalek leave the meeting due to injury.
Abdel Shafi suffered a broken collarbone, which will make him out of action for up to 8 weeks.
Zamalek was able to win the summit in a match that was decided by the white in favor of the score (3-1), so that Al-Ahly suffered the first loss in the league after 20 rounds of the Egyptian we league competition.
Al-Ahly will face its rival, El Gouna, next Wednesday, within the accounts of the 22nd week of the league competition, in contrast, Zamalek will face the Arab Contractors on Thursday.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly leads the local competition with 56 points, while Zamalek is second with 42 points.
