Lady rescued from tornado by truckers

A woman from Alabama saw a group of truckers save her life in January, as an unexpected tornado swirled toward her.

The rescuers used their truck to create a shield around the driver and prevent her from being swept away by the storm.

Melinda Maynard, says the weather and temperature suddenly changed after she hit the highway on January 25, reports local channel WVTM.

It was then that she noticed the presence of a truck in front of her. Moments later, eight semi-trailers surrounded him.

Maynard explained that she didn’t know what was going on. A truck driver therefore shouted “that a tornado was coming and that they were going to protect her”.

Once the storm was over, she was able to return home safe and sound.
