On Friday, around 9:40 p.m. on the A1 motorway between Yverdon-les-Bains and Lausanne, near La Sarraz, the driver of a passenger car registered in the canton of Vaud was surprised by the slowdown in traffic due to a work area, bidirectional. Her vehicle struck the car registered in Germany, which was in front of her. Under the effect of the shock, the latter in turn collided with the Vaud-type vehicle in front. Following these collisions, traffic was completely interrupted on this motorway axis, according to a press release from the Vaud cantonal police.
