La Jornada – They apply this week the second dose to children of 11 years and the reinforcement to older adults

Starting this Monday and until Friday, July 29, the second dose of the covid-19 vaccine will be applied to children 11 years of age with the Pfizer pediatric biological, as well as the reinforcements and first doses of the CanSino for adults.

Immunization for both children and adults will be carried out according to the initial letter of their first surname and with the following schedule: A, B and C, Monday, July 25; D, E, F and G, Tuesday 26; H, I, J, K, L and M, Wednesday 27; N, Ñ, O, P, Q and R, Thursday 28, and S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, on Friday 29 July.

The authorities recalled that the requirements to be vaccinated are: to be 11 years old, to have received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at least 28 days ago, to bring proof that they received the first dose of the vaccine, and to be accompanied by an adult.

In the case of the vaccine CanSinopeople who are going to be vaccinated for the first time were suggested to complete the registration on the website www.mivacuna.salud.gob.mx/index.php, as well as bring your printed receipt. People who attend for the second dose must also present proof of application of the first.

The application of the Pfizer biological for minors and CanSino for adults will be carried out at 55 vaccination points that will open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
