Mexico City. The Secretary of the Interior reported on the agreement reached to meet the demands of the community that lives in the Triqui region of Oaxaca.
During the dialogue between the inhabitants of Tierra Blanca, representatives of the Triqui Unification and Struggle Movement (MULT), the independent Triqui Unification and Struggle Movement (MULTI) and the inter-institutional and civil Commission for the pacification of the Triqui nation, it was agreed that the return to the area will be safe, orderly, voluntary, dignified and peaceful.
To that end, an operation will be established in charge of the Security Table of the state of Oaxaca and will have the collaboration of the three levels of government.
There will also be security points in strategic stretches of the road to review weapons and drugs, so the authority will be the guarantor of security for the peaceful and orderly return. May 16 was set as a goal to carry out this task.
