The Casa de Papel, Netflix series most watched by Colombians, will come to an end in the fifth season, which will begin filming on August 3, as confirmed by the platform itself.
The unique bank robbers masked with the face of Salvador Dalí will know their destiny, but not before presenting several surprises in their cast.

The last season of the series comes after the successful premiere of the fourth season amid confinement by the coronavirus pandemic.
This final installment will be recorded in different locations in Denmark, Spain and Portugal, despite the restrictions that arise from the advance of covid-19 outbreaks.
The season will consist of 10 chapters and the actors Úrsula Coberó will be seen again, such as Tokio; Álvaro Morte, playing the Professor; Itziar Ituño, in the skin of Lisbon; Pedro Alonso, like Berlin; Miguel Herrán will be Rio; Jaime Lorente will continue with Denver, Esther Acebo representing Stockholm; Enrique Arce as Arturo and Darko Peric will be Helsinki.
Bogotá will continue interpreted by Hovik Keuchkerian; Palermo, by the Argentine Rodrigo de la Serna; Inspector Sierra will be Najwa Nimri and one of the most intense faces of last season, Gandía, will be José Manuel Poga again.
Among the novelties in the cast comes a face known to the Latin American public, the Spanish Miguel Ángel Silvestre, protagonist of Sense8 and Velvet. Another new actor will be Patrick Criado, nominated for the Goya Award for The Great Spanish Family and Living Without Permission.
“We have spent almost a year thinking about how to destroy the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get to irreversible situations for many characters. The result is the fifth season of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and wild heights, but it will also be the most epic and exciting season ”, confirmed Alex Piña, one of its creators and executive producer.
What dramatic turns are expected?
In the previous season, Inspector Alicia Sierra discovered the gang robber’s operations center, located in an old car park. Sierra learned that there was an infiltrator in the police, who warned those led by the professor when the authorities lurked.
In this regard, the creator of the story, Sergio Marquina, promised not to disappoint with the latest installment, where the assailants, who are still at the Bank of Spain, will have to manage to defend themselves without the Professor, who faces Sierra. Who will take command of the group?
