“Kyle Busch Takes Pole at NASCAR Würth 400, Starting Order Revealed After Qualifying Cancelled Due to Rain”

Daniel Suárez will start the NASCAR Würth 400 from 15th position at Dover Motor Speedway. On the other hand, Kyle Busch took pole position after rain canceled qualifying.

The same rain that ended practice early, caused qualifying to be cancelled, forcing competition officials to set the starting lineup per the NASCAR Rule Book.

That elevated Busch’s No. 8 Chevrolet to the No. 1 starting spot. for the Würth 400 on Sunday (1:00 p.m. ET, 11:00 a.m. Mexico, 7:00 p.m. Spain).

Cup Series points leader Christopher Bell will start second in the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. The next two rows will be filled by a quartet of Ford drivers: Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski, Chris Buescher and Chase Briscoe in that order.

Practice was marked by three single-car incidents, the most significant involving the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet of Austin Dillon. Dillon lost control entering the third turn and backed into the outside retaining wall.

Two other solo spins did not result in contact, but occurred in almost the same area at Turns 3 and 4. Daniel Suarez slid in his No. 99 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet, and Erik Jones’ No. 43 Legacy Motor Club Chevy also skidded around the same corner.
