Jordi Vanlerberghe returns permanently to KV Mechelen. The midfielder was already loaned to Malinwa last season, but the purchase option was not lifted at the time.
KV Mechelen still sat around the table with Club Brugge to discuss the transfer from Vanlerberghe and still found an agreement. He will sign a contract in the AFAS Stadium until 2024.
Vanlerberghe did not have a top season at KV Mechelen, but is now getting a new chance. Gaëtan Coucke also has to make the switch from Racing Genk, both players take their medical and physical tests on Monday.
