Shihab Johar, husband of Kuwaiti artist Elham Al-Fadala, was keen to respond to the statements of her compatriot, artist Haya Al-Shuaibi.
The Kuwaiti artist, Haya Al-Shuaibi, sparked a dispute between her and the artist, Elham Al-Fadala, after her recent statements in which she criticized a woman who marries a married man with children, which some considered a reference to “Johar”, whom Elham married, and who is basically married and has children.
Al-Fadala responded to Al-Shuaibi’s statements, in a video clip that she broadcast on her Snapchat account, saying: “I did not do anything that would anger God, but rather I followed the Sunnah of God and His Messenger. I do not know the intentions, and God knows best about His servants. I hope that God will bless each person with what he carries in his heart. It is a great thing to walk in the right path, then you will be king.”
Jawhar was also keen to respond and said: “I am a man who has been silent enough, but unfortunately there are no men who know how to blame their harems… He who lives in a glass house does not throw stones at people!”
It is noteworthy that the dispute between Al-Shuaibi and Al-Fadala began after the latter’s marriage to Johar, as Al-Shuaibi was keen to support Al-Fadala’s first ex-husband, and was keen to visit his home with her husband.
